With the whole Prop 19 voting, what are your thoughts of legalizing marijuana? I for one think it should be legal since it's no worse than cigs/alcohol.
I'd rather not see it legal. I have nothing against the plant itself, and I even smoke from time to time, but I have no faith in people. Too many people would abuse it, just like they do with alcohol...not addiction or anything like that, just make really fuckin' stupid choices while high.
I don't smoke it, never enjoyed the sensation, so the legality isn't going to sway me one way or the other. Not that it matters - still illegal in the UK.
I think a lot of people who want it legal only argue with the fact that it doesn't harm people. You can't really argue for something when you're only factoring in one plus. Not that I'm against the legalization of it, I just think if you want to argue for something you need to know and understand as much as you can, especially what people are saying to oppose you. As for me, I personally don't care. I think if people want to smoke something they should be allowed to do so. That's as simple as it should be.
I'm indifferent to the legalization. I just feel IF it is to be legalized, it should be under the same restrictions as tobacco and alcohol is. DWI-related laws and an age limit is required. It still is a mind-altering substance. Otherwise, it should remain medicinal only.
True.
ReplyDeleteI feel like it'll be a lot harder to tax, so it will not be made legal.
ReplyDeleteWhich is kind of legit I suppose.
make it legal so kids stop making more dangerous drugs to substitute.
ReplyDeleteit hasnt killed someone ever, and it is impossible to overdose. Plus, it has medical uses. It needs to be legal.

ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't it be legal? It's just a fucking plant, how can any gouvernment dare to forbid you smoking what you want to?

ReplyDeleteI think it should be legalized. If alcohol is legal, so should weed be.
ReplyDeleteThe marijuana users that I'v met has caused me to very negatively associate marijuana with them.
ReplyDeleteIt should be legal, but why do I care xD Never smoked it soo....
ReplyDeleteIt should be, but california messed up...
ReplyDeleteWell, that was fun. Didn't pass. DAMNIT.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried weed, but I've heard that cigarettes are worst. If that's right, I don't find any reason to don't legalize it.

ReplyDeletefor the same reasons as you, i think it should be legalized.
ReplyDeleteI'll never be supportive of it as my brother pretty much destroyed any chance of success he could've had with that drug.
