Casey Anthony.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casey_Anthony

Today I just wanted to brief some people on who Casey Anthony is. Her verdict was read yesterday and she was found not guilty on the murder charges, but guilty on lying to the police. People from all over the place are in a huge uproar about this case, because the majority of people did believe she needed to be taken behind bars. But a lot of people don't know everything that went on in the case, so if you have some time read up on it.

  1. Personally, I am glad that she was not given the death sentance. The fact that she may have commited a murder does not give the government the right to put her to death. Solving murder with murder is not the correct solution. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

  2. It's pretty damning evidence against her, I'm surprised she got away with it. Such a shame to see people cheat the system when they commit such a travesty.

  4. Casey Anthony , I have no idea who she is:(
But I just dropped by your Blog and I loved what I saW. Following you now.

On other thoughts,I'd justice is pretty hard to get by these days. Be it the Muslim Aafia or Raymond Davis, no one gets the justice.
Have a great week ahead. Cheers.

  7. Well the prosecution did a lousy job presenting the evidence, and without proper evidence the case means nothing.

  8. It's clean cut. The prosecution couldn't prove their case beyond reasonable doubt, and she walked. I'd rather a guilty person go free than an innocent person locked up for life or given death.

  9. Everyone knows she did it, the state just couldn't prove she did.

  11. This makes me feel safer about being falsely imprisoned. not saying that shes innocent. But you need alot of evidence to go to jail.

  12. I absolutely think she's guilty, but at least it's nice to know that the justice system does actually work the way it is designed to. And that's not a sarcastic quip; there wasn't enough concrete evidence to convict, and they didn't, so props to you judiciary.

  13. I can't really give an opinion on this case because I didn't follow up on the case.

  14. Personally I'm just going to move on from it, nothing can be done now.

  15. See, this is a perfect case of mob-mentality. The justice system works, and in the case of Anthony, justice was served. Justice is not based upon opinion, it's based upon fact, and its up to the prosecutor to bring the facts to do their job, as well as the defense's job. Just because you THINK she's guilty, doesn't mean she is. The situation is horrible, a little girl died, and that's not right. But you can't blame the system, you blame the prosecutor who didn't use the system.
