First Internet Experience.
I'm wondering what kind of stuff you guys did when you first began using the Internet. I first got a computer back in 2002 when I was in the 8th grade. My friends Matt/Greg/Billy began playing Runescape together. It was great back then and we were actually really good. But I ended up having too obvious of a password and a guy I knew online got into my account and deleted everything.

Mine was at 1999. First thing I downloaded was Getright, Mirc and ICQ. Good old times...
ReplyDeleteI distinctly remember the first time I used the internet. We were running Windows 3.11, and Netscape Navigator was the browser. I tried to go to playboy.com, but it wasn't very successful, since we were running on a 14.4k modem. I think this was in either '94 or '95, but probably '95.

Around 2000, I was like 8 and used AOL to look up boobs at my Grampa's house.

ReplyDeleteBack in 1995 my friend down the street had the internet it was glorious. We would spend time being immature children and downloading pornography to 3.5" diskettes. All the while looking at funny Beavis and Butthead stuff. Oh and pirating Doom and Wolfenstein.

First internet experience? I think around '98 or '97, and with AOL. I was in 3. grade or so.

got into it when i was quite young, never really knew what was going on. Think the earliest internet experience i remember was playing with microsoft frontpage about Starcraft which was released that year lol. That and hl 1 online.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember the year but sometime when I was in middle school and we first had internet, parents would not let us use instant messengers or chatrooms. My sister and I got around that eventually. I stayed around gaming forums and got really attached to this one forum. It's gone now, but I was already hooked haha.
